It’s been a while since the last update. Hopefully I can have more time to work on my photos.
Kinkakuji (金閣寺), also known as Golden Pavilion, is well-known for its golden structure that are covered in gold leaf. Unfortunately the zen temple is out of bound. I was lucky to be able to capture a few moments before it starts drizzling. Pictures were taken in mid Dec 2013. I hope to visit again in Feb to see the structure cover with snow.
After the pavilion exit, there is a Fudo Hall where I spent some time there praying.
